“似乎”是一个在书面语中使用率较高的词语。“似乎”的语法意义有多种。它在句中的位置比较灵活,可以出现在VP、AP前,也可出现在句首。与能愿动词、其他副词共现时,也处在前面。它是一个由中古的“似”演变来的表示揣测语气的副词。

＂Sihu （ as if）＂ is a frequently used phrase in written language. It has a variety of grammatical meanings. Its position is flexible： it can be used in front of VP and AP, and can be used at the beginning of a sentence. When existing together with the wish verb and other adverbs, it is also placed in the front. It is the tone adverb which comes from the Chinese character ＂似＂ of medieval times.
