中医药术语英译标准之探讨

本文将中医阴阳理论精髓运用于中医术语英译分类方面,提出以中医阴阳理论规范中医英译标准,根据中医术语词汇的活跃程度分为“阴性”和“阳性”,并提出具体分类方法。阴阳分类法有助于从理论上厘清和确立中医术语英译基础宏观标准。

By taking advantage of creams of the yin-yang theory in TCM （traditional Chinese medicine）, the author puts forward the criterion of English translation of TCM terminology normalized by yin-yang theory, that is, TCM terms, according to their de^rees of being active, are divided into ＂terms of yin nature＂ and ＂terms of yang nature＂. Furthermore, the author makes attempt to classify TCM terminologies, which is helpful to establishment of the basic macro-criterion of TCM English translation in theory.
