摘要
任何一种语言都有数字词语,汉语不仅如此,而且更加丰富多彩。数字词语是指数字与其他词一起构成的词语,其意义具有强烈的文化特征。文章提出在进行汉语数字词语英译时一定要很好地了解语言的文化背景和风俗习惯等,并就汉语数字词语的英译方法进行了分析。
Digital phrases appear in every language. Chinese is a language full of the digital phrases. Digital phrases are those that combine digits and other words,which have very strong cultural characteristics of their own.So the cultural background and customs of the language should be understood carefully in its translation. The passage tells us the common ways of digital phrases from Chinese to English.
