以发展的观点解读伤寒与温病——邓铁涛外感热病学术思想探析

Interpretation of Cold-induced Febrile Disease and Epidemic Febrile Disease——Exploration of the Academic Thought of Exopathic Pyrexia by Deng Tie-tao

中医在诊治传染病时,曾经先后形成了不同的理论体系,有热病、伤寒、瘟疫、温病等不同的学派,互相争鸣,至今未能统一,中医学院的教材仍然把伤寒与温病说成是互相对立的两大学派,伤寒与温病是水火不相容的两类疾病。邓铁涛教授(邓老)指出,伤寒与温病都是针对传染病的中医理论,既有继承,也有发展,应是逐渐融合为统一的热病。

for treatment of epidemic diseases, various theories and systems were developed successively but conflicting, such us pyrexia, cold - induced febrile disease, pestilence, epidemic febrile disease and so on. In the teaching materials of institutes of traditional Chinese medicine, cold - induced and epidemic febrile diseases are still of different kinds, and opposed with each other. It is observed by professor Deng, that two of them are traditional theories for epidemic diseases, inherited and developed from the past, unified as pyrexia.
