摘要
为快速获得打印机色域,提出一种小样本测量和B样条插值相结合的色域提取算法.首先对打印机色域提取问题建模,将其归结为打印机色域边界样本的获取,分析CIELab颜色空间的构成原理并将其推广到打印色域的提取过程,以获得形成色域边界的小样本集合;然后利用B样条曲面插值得到光滑的设备色域边界.本算法与传统测量方法相比,生成的色域边界几乎重合,而样本数仅为后者的4.3%.该算法能精确、快速、经济地获取打印机色域,并可应用于其他色彩再现设备.
A new method using measurement and B-spline interpolation is proposed to reduce the complexity of color gamut calculation for printing devices. Print-measure process was studied and gamut calculation reduces to gamut boundary determination. The gamut boundary of CIELab was analyzed to derive that forming different parts of gamut boundary needs variant chromatic mix. As to the printer, colorants mixed together can give distribution to chorea was selected to form the sample. After theses samples were printed and measured, the printer's gamut boundary was achieved via bivariate B-spline interpolation. Compared to the algorithm with convex operation, the gamut of the proposed scheme is almost the same, while the printing samples are only 4.3 %. The algorithm is accurate and fast and can be adapted to other color reproduction devices.
