试评北大《现代汉语》教材的词类划分标准

Comment on the Criteria for Classifying Words in Modern Chinese of Beijing University Edition

北京大学中文系现代汉语教研室编《现代汉语》以词的语法功能和词的意义作为词类划分的主要标准.其中依据词的语法功能来划分词类包括句法标准、分布标准和语法意义标准三个方面.这本《现代汉语》教材的词类划分有三个主要特点,即:把副词划入虚词一类,划分出状态词,把感叹词和拟声词归入特类.

Words are classified mainly according to lexical meaning and grammatical function of words in Modem Chinese compiled by Modern Chinese Teaching-Research Section of Chinese Department, Beijing University. The criterion of grammatical function includes criteria of syntax, distribution and grammatical meaning. This textbook of Modern Chinese has three main features in classifying words, such as, adverbs being in form-words, state words being classified and exclamations and onomatopoeia being classified into a special kind.
