在箱式变电站监控与保护系统中应用远程数字视频监控与图像识别技术有利于及时进行设备维护和故障排除。本文介绍了远程数字视频监控与图像识别技术及其应用现状，说明了一般的图像识别过程。采用图像识别技术可对设备信号灯、7段式数字、指针位置和开关位置进行识别，介绍了具体识别过程。指出远程数字视频监控与图像识别技术在电力系统中具有广阔的应用前景。

The maintenance and trouble shooting of equipments can be carried out in time by using remote digital video monitoring and image recognizing technology in monitoring and protective system of cased transformer substation. The technologies of remote digital video monitoring and image recognition and their present application state are presented in the paper, and the general image recognizing process is illustrated. The signal lights of equipments, the seven segment numeral, pointer position and switch position can be recognized by means of image recognition technology. The author describes the concrete process of recognition, points out the broad prospect of applying remote digital video monitoring and image recognizing technology in electric power system.
