Study on the Processing Techniques for Full Text Retrieval I. Kanji Full Text Retrieval Technique

提出了汉字全文检索系统的新的数据结构、建库和检索的算法，完成了程序设计、用于对中国化学文献数据库标题和文摘的检索，测定了索引建立时间、空间消耗和检索的响应时间，计算了每篇文献的长度在不同范围时的高频字数和索引空间消耗。

The new data structure and algorithm for Kanji full text retrieval are put forward.The program used for full text retrieval in titles and abstracts of Chinese chemical bibliographic database is designed.The elapsed time and CPU time for setting up index,consumption of storage space, response time for retrieval are determined. The expansion ratio of storage space between index and text is discussed according to the calculation of consumption of storage space in the different range of record length. The time and space relationship is also discussed. The results are satisfactory.
