This paper illustrates the developing process of housing industry from nothing to having, from immature to mature, and from planned economy to market economy, proposes that its development plays important role in promoting the increase of national economy and improving national standard of living, and points out that real estate industry would face opportunities and challenges along with steady improvement of urbanization level, which to offer extended development prospect for housing industry in our country.
