政治文化是政治意识文明的源头活水,而政治意识文明的不断发展和进步是推动人类政治文化发展的精神动力。弘扬先进政治思想文化,建立全体人民共同的社会理想信念,共同的政治社会价值观和共同的精神追求,是社会主义政治意识文明建设的当代主题。就当代中国政治意识文明建设而言,首先要解决儒家政治、文化传统与社会主义政治和文化之间的关系,同时还要针对改革开放的新境遇和社会发展的新挑战,树立文化安全意识。
