堂吉诃德历来被认为是一个滑稽可笑的人物,但是在他的性格之中,却有着坚定的理想主义信念。他有为了个人理想和社会正义而努力奋斗的骑士主义精神和柏拉图式的精神恋爱观。通过他与阿Q的一些比较,也能发现他内在的理想主义追求。

Though we consider Don Quixote as a comical figure, his character shares steady idealism. His knight spirit was derived from the endeavor for his personal ideal and justice of the society. And his idea of love was the spiritual love as Platonic. His inner court for idealism could be found in comparing with Ah Q.
