Textual Theories and Translation Criticism

本文分析了前现代,现代与后现代的文本理论及它们同翻译批评的关系,指出它们对译学研究的贡献与对翻译批评的误导。作者主张用马克思和西方马克思主义美学所提出的艺术生产理论来看待文本与语言和社会的关系问题,并指出翻译批评学的理论也应建立在这种文本观上。

This paper has analyzed the textual theories of pre - modernism, modernism and post - modernism, and their relations between these theories and translation criticism, pointing out both their contributions and defaults to translation studies. The author holds that the theory of art production put forth by Karl Marx and the Western Marxist Aesthetics should be adopted as a guide to understand the relation between textual theory and translation criticism and its textual theory should serve as the basis for translation criticism.
