摘要
本文从主位结构和主位推进的理论出发,探讨了主述位理论在英语语篇教学中的应用。主述位理论是研究语篇的重要功能系统,本文经过对主位、述位及其主位推进模式的介绍和具体语篇的分析,说明该理论在语篇阅读教学中起着举足轻重的作用。将主位推进模式运用于阅读教学,不仅可以提高教学效果,更为重要的是,学生可以学会从语篇的角度来分析文章从而提高其语篇阅读理解能力。
Based on theories of thematic structure and thematic progression, the paper exploits the application of the theories to discourse teaching of college English. The theory of theme and rhyme is an important functional system where discourse progression is studied. Through introduction of theme, rhyme, and patterns of thematic progression and analysis of specific discourse, we can clearly see the important role that the theory bears in discourse teaching of college English. If applied to teaching, not only will teaching effect be greatly improved, but also students' ability of discourse analysis and reading comprehension.
