Eucalyptus is one of the three admitted fast growing trees in the world. In recent years,the research of eucalyptus comprehensive utilization and its by-products has made in the pharmacological effects of eucalyptus is just starting to grow. The article introduced the main chemical constituents of Eucalyptus, and summarized the pharmacological effect research progress of eucalyptus in antibiosis, anti-inflammation, insect disinfestations, as well as presses to infiltrate and so on in detail, for that people can have more comprehensive understanding on the eucalyptus.
