摘要
计算机英语与一般英语既相互联系,又相互区别,它以一般英语为基础,但在词汇等方面又都表现出有别于一般英语的“个性”。本文对计算机英语的这种“个性”特色,从七个方面做了一些探讨,认为只要我们知彼知己,勤于探索,就一定能够尽快提高我们计算机英语的读、听、说、写能力和在实际工作中的全面应用能力,更好地服务于我们的经济发展和社会进步。
Ahhough Computer English is based on general English, it bears distinct features in vocabulary etc. We may say it has its own ＂personality＂. Here in this paper I＇d like to make some explorations to this area from seven respects. I think so long as we learn to know the major characteristics of Computer English and keep exploring, we can surely raise our ability to use EET as soon as possible and better our service for our economic development and social progress.
