性格差异对外语习得的影响及其语言教学革新 被引量:1

摘要 学习者学习生活中体现出的不同的性格类型是学习者个性差异中最显著的特性,这些性格类型可根据目前国际上应用最为广泛的性格测评理论MBTI(Myers Briggs Type Indicator)加以测评判定。每种性格的外语学习者都有其不同的注意力焦点和盲区,一旦性格类型被确定,即可知道每种外语学习者在决策时会关注什么,而习惯性会忽略什么,这一点对做出正确决策非常重要。为了能成功地提供教学指导,外语教师必须时刻存在一种意识——学生们是存在着差异的个体,为了让教学满足学生个性化需求,教学者应进行针对性的教学策略革新以增强学习指导效果、提高学生学习效率。 A feature of individual differences, which enters almost every area of life is that of personality type. This can be assessed with an instrument know as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) (Briggs Myers, 1998). Language learners of different personality type have their own different learning focus and neglect. Once the learners' personality type is identified,their neglect and focus of attention will be confirmed, which is especially important in decision- making. In order to provide successful instruction, English teachers need to be aware of the existence of their students' individual differences and innovate their college English teaching to maximize learning success. This paper will present some effective innovation of college English teaching that should be included to diminish the negative effects of the'students' personality differences in foreign language learning.
