计算机中心至今尚未发展为具有独立语义特征的建筑类型。20世纪末,对计算机中心的要求不外乎安置那些在精心控制的气候条件下运行的大型计算机;没有其他因素会对建筑产生影响。
Architectural design
Computer centres have not acquired a semantic identity as a building type hitherto. At the end of the 20th century, they were simply required to provide a functional location for the installation of mainframe computers under carefully controlled climatic conditions, without the contents exercising any other influence on the architecture.
