There is a common question of 'Why does using the successful experience of establishing two-way HFC network in North America in China appear the situation of non-acclimatization?' in the industry. To counter this, the paper, by making up the model of HFC's return path system, deeply analyses some contents such as AGC of long loop, unit gain, power per Hz, norm of 6dB and norm of 30dB, and comprehensively goes further into the technical requirements of HFC two-way network. The aim is to make the establishment of HFC two-way network featuring theory's systematicness and directions.
