摘要
随着光纤通信的发展和应用,ITU-T在2001年提出了光传送网(OTN)的接口标准协议G.709。本文介绍了OTN概念和结构,分析了应用于超长距离传输的前向纠错技术(FEC),并测试了采用FEC后对系统信噪比劣化冗余度的改善。实验在用于长途骨干网传输的密集波分复用(DWDM)系统进行,利用10Gb/s速率的接口盘实现带FEC功能的数字封装,在实验室环境下使用掺铒光纤放大器调节光衰减。通过比较采用RSFEC和EFEC的编码增益(codinggain)的测试结果,对工程技术有一定的实用价值。
With development of the optical communication, the standard G. 709 (interface for the optical transport network) was proposed by ITU-T in 2001. In this paper, the definition and structure of OTN is introduced, Forward Error Correction is discussed, and the improvement of redundancy of the OSNR degrade is verified using FEC technology by experiment. The testing is executed on a DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system which is used in the long haul network. The Digital Wrapping with FEC function is realized on a 10Gbits/s circuit pack. Besides, the EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) is used to adjust the attenuation of the optical transmission in the laboratory. And the comparison of the Coding Gain using RSFEC and EFEC in the test result has some practical value to the engineering field.
