Environmental protection, fuel economy and extended oil drain intervals are the main power for pushing the upgrading of internal combustion engine oil specification. The new engine technologies must be adopted to meet these increasingly stringent requirements. So there is a new demand on the performances of internal combustion engine oil, with the result that the oil specification upgrades unceasingly.
