The content and important meaning of the modern equipment lubrication are described. The oil monitoring technology applied to the diagnoses of the equipment fault and the abrasion fault is introduced. And two representative faults are illustrated. It is sufficiently showed that the modern equipment lubrication technology has a very nice future.
