Academic profession which regards its times, creativity, freedom and honesty as its basic kernel, has its own moral characteristic, which makes academic profession different from the other social professions. Academic moral construction includes not only the moral construction of scientific research, but also many aspects, such as educating , teaching, serving the society, students＇ academic moral constructions and so on. The main purpose of discussing the moral characteristics of academic profession is to provide theoretical base for academic moral construction.
