Region, Economic Region and the Development Track of Regional Economics

区域经济因其没有明确的概念内涵及定义边界而不被人们所理解．其根本原因在于区域，特别是经济区域概念的界定多种多样。经济区域应该被理解为不同种类、不同等级的、具有较强自组织能力、相对独立却高度开放的经济功能区．彼此之间交互作用，形成的一种具有网络特征的经济空间。区域经济学应该研究这种经济空间的形成、发展、交互作用以及主体政策问题。

Regional economics is not usually understood, because it has no clear definition. Region, especially economic region used to be given to all kinds of definitions. Economic region should be regard as an economic net space, which is composed of different kinds, different grades and with stronger self-organization capability economic function district. These districts are relative independent, highly open and interact. Regional economics should study this kind of region and its formation, interact and main body policy etc.
