Design of Seamless Tiling of Large-screen Projection Display System

摘要 设计了一个可实现无缝拼接系统的研究示例:将一个高分辨率的图像分为两个分图像,按两部分在边缘交叠的方式分别投影。在投影之前,选用简单的线性函数关系,对待重叠部分进行了淡入淡出的处理,经这样叠加后重叠部分的重叠痕迹可适当消除。但鉴于像素信号与亮度之间还应满足伽马(Gamma)关系,故在处理过程中同时进行了Gamma校正的设计。研究过程中,考虑到不同成像终端之间,在色度表征方式以及Gamma校正已有自身规则,可方便转换,文章从简化研究出发,首次采用当前计算机监视器的液晶屏为投影成像的终端,研究它的融合结果,并实测融合图像部分的光强,以检查融合的实际效果。发现采用简单的线性函数并选择2.15的Gamma校正值,较之未作伽马校正前的,能改善融合区与未处理区的亮度差异达两个量级。最后给出了经这样处理后在液晶显示屏上获得较为良好的拼接效果。 The technology of seamless tiling of large-screen high-resolution imagewas divided into two sub-images projection display system was introduced. A in which there is the same overlap part at the superposition edge of each sub-image. The image signals on the overlay parts of the sub-images were processed according to the fade-out and fade-in principle using the simple linear function. The superposition trace in the overlap parts would be properly eliminated when the two sub-images through this treatment were composed and projected. The main function that controls how pixels are mapped to brightness is the so called gamma function of the displays, so we can apply Gamma correction. Considering that different display terminals have their own shows of chroma and principle of Gamma correction, the LCD was adopted to check the result and research the actual effect of the seamless tiling. It is found that brightness of the overlap area can be largely improved when using the Gamma value of 2.15. This paper have gotten a better result of over two orders of magnitude by adjusting Gamma value compared to the one without Gamma treatment.
