中国毒甲属分类研究(鞘翅目,拟步甲科,毒甲族) 被引量:2

TAXONOMIC STUDY ON THE GENUS TOXICUM LATREILLE (COLEOPTERA,TENEBRIONIDAE)

摘要 记述中国毒甲属Toxicum6新种:扁角毒甲T.planicornus sp.nov.,扁指毒甲T.digitatum sp.nov.,刀角毒甲T.gladicornus sp.nov.,尖角毒甲Toxicum angustum sp.nov.,突角毒甲T.horridus sp.nov.,斜角毒甲T.obliqucornum sp.nov.。模式标本保存在河北大学博物馆。 This paper deals with 11 species of genus Toxicum Latreille,1802 from China.Six new species which are described and figured:T.planicornus sp.nov.,T.digitatum sp.nov.,T.gladicornus sp.nov.,T.angustum sp.nov.,T.horridus sp.nov., T.obliqucornum sp.nov. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University. Toxicum planicornus sp. nov.(Figs.4,14,29,38,47-48) Holotype ♂, Leye(Yachang), Guangxi, 26 July 2004, YU Yang and GAO Chao. Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T.funginum Lewis,1894 from Taiwan,but it can be distinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male body smeary black, head slightly lighter in color; with two taper protuberance in the middle of clypeus; two shorter, flat triangle shape horns on the inner ooalar edge, little close together at the end, and with shock, erect, bend hair only at the front edge of the horns ; elytra with rows of punctures coarse and deep, intervals impunctures, feebly convex; whereas in the latter body densely black, opaque; two somewhat slender horns, rather close together, on the edge of the dypeus; two stronger and longer horns on the inner ooahr edge, little bent and clothed at and near the apices with long fulvous or reddish hair; elytra striato- punctures, intervals fiat. Etymology. The specific name is named after male fiat triangle shape horns on the inner ooalar edge. Toxicum digitatum sp. nov. (Figs.6, 15-16, 30, 39, 49-50) Holotype ♂, Daluo (alt. 640m), Yunnan, 31 July 2000, LI Zhe. Paratypes 2 ♂♂ , same data as holotype. Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T.fanjingshanana Ren et Hua, 2005 from Fanjingshan, but it can be distinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male body less ( 13.5-14.0 mm; with two breast protuberance in the middle of dypeus; two shorter, fiat thumb shape horns on the inner ocular edge; whereas in the latter body longer (16.0 mm); with one broad fiat shovel-shape horn in the middle of dypeus; two crassitude and protruded backwards horns on the inner ooalar edge. Etymology. The specific name is named after male two shorter, fiat thumb shape horns on the inner oadar edge. Toxicum gladicornus sp.nov.(Figs.7-8, 17-19, 31- 32, 40-41, 51-54) Holotype ♂ , Leye (Yachang), Guangxi, 26 July 2004, YU Yang and GAO Chao. Paratypes 1 ♂ , same data as holotype; 1 ♂, 1♀, Jinxiu ( Luoxiang), Guangxi (alt. 450m), July 2000, LI Wen-Zhu; Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T.f funginum Lewis, 1894 from Taiwan, but it can be distinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male body smeary black; with two endlong, long and slender horns in the middle of clypeus, horny end excurvature; two horns on the inner ocular edge form oarve falchion shape, prominent oarve at the apex; the scutellum finely sparse punctures; whereas in the latter body densely black, opaque; two somewhat slender horns, rather dose together, on the edge of the dypeus; two stronger and longer horns on the inner ocular edge, little bent; the scutellum impuncture. Etymology. The specific name is named after male two horns on the inner ooalar edge form curve falchion shape. Toxicum angustum sp. nov. (Figs.9-10, 20-22, 33- 34, 42-43, 55-58) Holotype ♂, Modog (A′ ni-beibeng, alt. 900- 1 250 m), Xizang, 11 Aug. 2003, REN Guo-Dong. Paratype 1♀, same data as holotype. Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T.funginum Lewis, 1894 from Taiwan, but it can be distinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male body smeary black, shining; with two endlong and nearly parallel horns intervals in the middle of the clypeus, horny end slightly excurvature; prontum front border shallowly concave, middle nearly straight, and only front angles are rnarginated; elytra with rows of punctures coarse and deep, intervals has small granules; whereas in the latter body dark black and opaque; ends of 2 dypeus horns are nearness each other; pronotal front edge straight; elytra intervals flat. Etymology. The specific name is named after male fully developed horns in the middle of the clypeus and on the inner ocular edge. Toxicum horridum sp. nov. (Figs.11-12, 23-26, 35-36, 44-45, 59-62) Holotype ♂ , Yunnan (Daluo, alt. 640m), 31 july 2000, LI Zhe. Paratype 1♀, same data as holotype. Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T. funginum Lewis, 1894 from Taiwan, but it can be distinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male with two sloping forwards and parallel horns in the middle of clypeus; the antennae, two basal joints sooty and lackluster; two horns on the inner ocular edge fully strong and long; whereas in the latter with two upright, somewhat slender horns, rather close together, on the edge of the dypeus; the antennae, two basal joints piceous; two horns on the inner ocular edge a little shorter. Etymology. The specific name is named after male fully strong and long horns on the inner ocular edge. Toxicum obliqucornum sp. nov. (Figs. 13, 27-28, 37, 46, 63-64) Holotype♂ , Daluo (alt. 640 m), Yunnan, 31 July 2000, LI Zhe. Paratype 1 ♂, same data as holotype. Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T.funginum Lewis, 1894 from Taiwan, but it can bedistinguished from the latter mainly by the following characters: male clypeus fiat concave, with two oblique forwards, short horns; with two dumpy horns on the inner ocular edge, its apex backside extruded, in the front edge of horns with shock, golden, bend hair; elytra inner five rows narrow, others little wider, intervals opaque; body much longer ( 15.0-16.0mm); whereas in the latter two somewhat slender horns, rather close together, on the edge of the dypeus; two stronger and longer horns on the inner ocular edge, little bent and clothed at and near the apices with long fulvous or reddish hair; elytra striato-ptmctures, intervals fiat; body smaller, 12.5-13.5 mm. Etymology. The specific name is named after male with two oblique forwards, short horns in the middle of the dypeus.
