The Difference of the Research Methods Between TCM and Western Medicine and Its Significance

中西医学虽然都是以解剖学知识为基础构建其理论体系的,但两者却有着很大的差异。西医学所有相关的知识,无不以解剖学为基础,而中医学理论体系的建立,除解剖学基础外,还深受当时文化、哲学思想的影响。因此导致两者在研究方法上存在着很大的差异,一个是还原分析的研究方法,一个是整体系统的研究方法。

Though the theoretical systems of both TCM and western medicine are based on anatomy, there is great difference between them. While all knowledge related to western medicine is based on anatomy, the establishment of theoretical system of TCM is affected by the culture and philosophy of that time besides anatomy. Therefore, great difference exists in the research methods of them, i. e. , one uses the method of regression analysis, and the other applies entire systematic method.
