师专升本院校办学特色的思考

On the Characteristics of Universities Upgraded from Normal Colleges

师专升格为本科院校后,面临着自身原有特色的继承与发展、弱化与丧失的问题。与传统老本科院校相比,此类院校时间短,缺乏经验,办学条件和设施比较薄弱,在创建特色时可扬长避短,从创新教育模式、办学理念、社会服务等方面入手,探索出一条适合自己的特色发展道路。

Universities upgraded from normal colleges, on the one hand, need to inherent and develop some of their original characteristics of running colleges, and on the other hand, they also need to weaken or discard some of them. Compared with the traditional undergraduate universities, these newly-upgraded universities lack experiences of running universities and their conditions and facilities are poorer. Therefore, they may make best use of their advantages and bypass their disadvantages and run the universities from such aspects as innovative education mode, university-running ideas and social services to find their own characteristic way of development.
