新建本科院校图书馆馆藏存在着数量不足、质量较低、投入不足、结构不合理等问题。加强图书馆建设是高校提高办学质量,为社会提供服务的重要基础。用科学的发展观指导图书馆的馆藏建设,增加文献购置的投资力度,实现信息资源共享,突出馆藏特色,提高馆藏质量是解决新建本科院校图书馆馆藏建设与发展问题的有效途径。

There are some problems in library collection in newly-established universities, such as, insufficient books with low quality, inadequate funds and unreasonable structure and so on. Strengthening library construction is the important foundation to improve the quality of a university and to render service for the society. To guide the construction of the library in a scientific and developing way, increase the investment to purchase literature, realize the share of information resources, focus on the characteristic library collection and improve the quality of the books is the effective way to the construction and development of the libraries of newly-established universities.
