书稿的电子化使传统意义上的原稿与校样合而为一,校对方式变为以读校为主,校是非的功能凸现,这是校对工作者必须面对的现实。要想解决书稿中的是非问题,首先必须辨明是非。做不到这一点,校是非就无从谈起,读校活动也就失去了意义。本文结合实例分析、探讨了这方面的问题,得出了"辨是非是读校活动的第一要义"这一结论。

With the development of science and technology, manuscripts are provided with the form of electronic documents more and more. In some sense, manuscripts and reader＇s proof are existing on one piece of paper, instead of on traditional reader＇s proof, and proofreading is clone by reading on manuscripts. It can＇t be avoided for the proofreaders to be faced the difficulties in telling true or false. In order to solve the problem of true or false in manuscripts, the proofreaders must have the abilities of distinguishing between true and false. If it can＇t be realized, true and false can＇t be judged, and the readings on manuscripts are worthless and time-wasted. Real examples and cases are given to discuss the problem above, and a main conclusion is drawn： distinguishing between true and false is the first task of proofreading.
