Transformer is the main component of a substation. Once abnormality occurs in its operation, the normal work of the system and the normal power supply will be seriously affected, sometimes even large area of power failure will be caused. In this paper, a detailed analysis of the causes of the abnormality is given, and then the usual way of treatment to the frequent problems is also brought forward.
