Oil and Gas Resources in Africa and Its Major Producing Countries

非洲是世界上油气产量增长较快的地区,但其油气勘探开发程度却比较低。介绍了非洲大陆的地层与盆地类型、主要油气产区和盆地、天然气开发前景以及9个主要油气生产国的情况。指出:非洲大陆5类盆地中有4类为含油气盆地,石油主要分布在非洲北部和西部,储量为140.52×108t;天然气主要分布在非洲北部和东部,储量为14.18×1012m^3。2005年非洲石油产量为4.42×108t,天然气产量为1408.12×108m^3。中国目前与非洲的关系表明,未来非洲在中国能源战略格局中将占有举足轻重的地位。

The growth rate of oil and gas production output in Africa is higher t han that in other continents, but the degree of oil and gas exploratory developm ent of Africa is lower. The layer types and basin types in Africa, the main oil and gas production areas in Africa and the development foreground of natural gas of Africa as well as the summary of nine main oil and gas production countries are introduced in this paper. Those showed as follows: four kinds of basins in f ive kinds of basins in Africa have oil or gas resources, the oil resources distr ibutes mainly the north areas and the west areas in Africa, the reserves is 140. 52×108 t; The natural gas resources distributes mainly the north areas and east areas in Africa, the reserves is 13.76×1012 m3; The oil production output of A frica is 4.42×108 t in 2005, and the natural gas production output is 1 408.12 ×108 m3 in 2005. By analyzed the relationship of China and Africa now, that sho wed Africa is very important for China’s energy stratagem in future.
