On the Quality of Colleges and Universities' Librarians and Their Education

新形势下高校图书馆员必须具备较高的思想道德素质、过硬的业务素质、较强的信息素质、良好的身心素质。要重塑馆员的良好素质可从培养终身学习的习惯、积极开展岗位培训、有计划地开展继续教育、引入竞争机制,加强学术交流等方面着手。

Under the new situations, colleges and universities librarians must have higher moral qualities, fine professional quality, higher qualities of information, the good physical and mental quality; but how can we improve those qualities？ we should cultivate a habit of lifelong study ourselves, carrying out on the active-duty job training, launching the continuing education, introducing competition mechanism, strengthening academic exchanges and other aspects.
