PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE ANDRADITE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF SLURRY IN DRILLING

钙铁石榴石在矽卡岩及其矿床中含量很高、储量很大，目前尚未被开发利用。经过一系列研究发现：钙铁石榴石具有很好的物理性能和化学性能，较高的密度及良好的化学稳定性，在作钻井泥浆加重剂时，可以与钻井泥浆中常用加重剂重晶石相媲美。

Through a series of research results for the properties of andradite,a new application of andradite which is rich in most of the SK type rocks and deposits was found.Owing to the higher density and stable chemical properties,it is proposed that the andradite can be used as a weight agent in the slurry and can be instead of barite of poor quality.It has the same or similar properties of barite.
