论甲骨文的文献学价值

On the Philological Value of Jiaguwen

百年来的甲骨学研究,已经是硕果累累。要研究中国的古代历史文化,就必须具备一定的甲骨学知识。随着一系列甲骨文及甲骨文献大型著录汇编、资料文库的编纂出版,甲骨文献研究也在甲骨文研究的基础上开展起来,一些学者对甲骨文献进行了十分有益的探索和研究。甲骨文的价值是多方面的,文章就甲骨文献为研究商周历史提供了新的材料、为研究文字的流变发展提供了第一手材料、甲骨文献是中国图书文献的源头及对古代文明探源研究提供实物佐证等方面的价值进行了阐发。

Numerous significant achievements have been made over one hundred years of research on the inscribed oracle bones. Certain knowledge of jiaguwen （Inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of the Shang Dynasty） is a prerequisite for the research on the ancient Chinese history and culture. Along with the compilation and the publication of series of jiaguwen corpora and libraries, the philological study of jiaguwen has been carried out on the basis of the study in jiaguwen. Some scholars have made positive and valuable exploration in this field. The philological study of jiaguwen has multifold values. This paper attempts to probe into its potential values of providing new materials for the study of the history of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, the first-hand materials for the study of the change and development of written language, the authentic proof for its value in being the fountainhead of Chinese written documents and its significance in the study of the origin of ancient civilization.
