For 88 years, CAS, a department of ACS, U. S. A, has persistently published CA abstracts etc., The regularly series of the ordinary retrieval methods have been perfectly established- As I am a researcher on CA searching through 30 years, I write this article to narrate the circumstances from ordinary retrieval to online searching, in order to benefit the readers.
