中央研究院与中国科学院间的初步比较——以工程研究所与冶金陶瓷研究所为个案

Comparison of Academia Sinica and Chinese Academy of Sciences—A Case Study on the Engineering Institute of Academia Sinica and the Institute of Metallurgy and Ceramics of CAS

以1928-1937年的中央研究院工程研究所与1949-1958年的中国科学院上海冶金陶瓷研究所为个案,对比分析了两者间的科研工作.结果表明,从中央研究院工程研究所到中国科学院上海冶金陶瓷所的发展过程中,研究所的研究方向发生了变化,它们和国家经济建设的关系也发生了转变,说明中央研究院和中国科学院具有不同的科学价值观,对国家经济建设的作用也不尽相同.

Scientific research in the Engineering Institute of Academia Sinica（1928-1937） and in the Institute of Metallurgy and Ceramics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences（1949-1958） were compared. The result showed that research direction of the institute had changed when the Engineering Institute was transformed into the Institute of Metallurgy and Ceramics. At the same time, relationship between the institute and the national economy development had also changed. Which indicated the Academia Sinica and the Chinese Academy of Sciences had different comprehend on the value of science,and played different role on the development of economy.
