Quality of life assessment in patients with osteoporosis

生命质量是近年来发展起来的一种全新的医学概念,正逐渐替代疾病的传统评价指标。随着人口的老龄化进程加快,骨质疏松症性椎体压缩骨折的发病率也在逐年升高,椎体成形术是其主要治疗手段。生活质量的评价已成为椎体成形术治疗骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折的主要热点。本文介绍了生命质量的概况,着重阐述了其在骨质疏松症领域及在椎体成形治疗方面的研究方法和现状。

Health-related quality of life （HRQOL）is a new medical concept developed in recent years replacing gradually the traditional objective clinical scoring system. Along with rise of aging population around the world, osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures are increasing yearly and percutaneous vertebroplasty becomes the standardized care in the mean time. The article introduces a new concept of QOL and puts emphasis on the interventional technique with maneuver of percutaneous vertebroplasty to open a new horizon. （J Intervent Radiol, 2007, 16： 497-501）
