据联合国粮农组织和阿根廷农畜渔粮食部统计，2005年世界共计116个国家和地区有蜂蜜生产，总产量达148万吨，同比增长2％左右。中国蜂蜜产量29．8万吨，居世界首位（见表1）。
According to statistics from FAO, the world honey output had a rise of 290 000 tons during 1995-2005, and maintains a soaring posture to date. The surge in world demands, prices incentive and increase in income of consumers had boosted the growth in honey production and trade. In 2006, the world honey trade showed a tendency for buyer＇s market. In 2007, China＇s honey production in spring season shows a good situation with improved quality and domestic strong demand. It is expected that the export cost will further increase and the export volume will decrease.
