摘要
20世纪90年代以来,为提高美国教育质量和兑现教育平等,美国联邦政府在教育改革中实施了一系列的政策和措施,主要有提高学生学业标准、提供择校机会和弱势群体的教育补偿政策。对教育平等的追求从机会平等转向过程平等和结果平等;对弱势群体的教育补偿发展到经济补偿和提供额外教育辅助并行的补偿政策。
Since 1990s,to improve the quality and achieve the equality of education, the federal government of American has implemented a series of policies and measures in education which included raising the academic standards,offering chance for school choice and compensation to the disadvantaged. The pursuit of education equality has developed from the equality of opportunity to the equality of process and outcomes. The compensation for the disadvantaged has developed to the financial compensation and the supplemental educational services.
