Sources of vascular endothelial cells for the construction of tissue-engineered blood vessels

获得足够数量和功能正常的种子细胞是组织工程构建的基本前提。组织工程化血管构建的种子细胞包括血管内皮细胞、平滑肌细胞和成纤维细胞。仅就维持血管通畅方面起主要作用的血管内皮细胞来源及其近期相关研究予以综述。

Tissue-engineered blood vessels offer considerable promise in the repair or replacement of diseased blood vessels. The cellular component of this regenerative approach play a key role in bringing these tissue engineered constructs from the laboratory bench to the clinical bedside. Endothelial＇cells are the most important cells to maintain blood vessel viable. However, the ideal source of endothelial cells still remains unclear and may differ depending upon the different sources. This article focused on the endothelial cells properties of the multisources and their recent studies.
