Spectrophotometer is a kind of instrument used commonly in daily analytical work of oil and chemical laboratories.Based on simply introducing the elementary principle and structure of the instrument,the common breakdown of light path and electric circuit,the maintenance and the repair of them are discussed.Correctly adjusting light source and concolorous device is not only the skills to operators but also the key to ensure quality of analytical data.Eliminating breakdown of electric circuit depends on correctly analysing breakdown.Hardware,connection and environment are three analysed aspects probably leading to main problem about electric circuit of type 721 spectrophotometer.
