USING THE CONCEPT OF PETROLEUM SYSTEM IN OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION

油气系统是勘探家在勘探实践的基础上不断探索而形成的概念,涵盖了油气生成到聚集成藏的全过程,是自然界中反映油气形成到聚集的连续系统。油气勘探系统是以发现油气为目的的工程系统,因受经济杠杆的制约,有很强的阶段性。作为一名勘探家要以油气系统概念来指导油气勘探的各个阶段。

Petroleum system is a new concept which was put forward by petroleum explorer based on exploration work. It contains the whole process of petroleum accumulation from source rock to trap. The petroleum exploration system is an engineering system which was conditioned by economic factors aiming at finding oil and gas resources. It is necessary for oil and gas explorer to use the concept of petroleum system in exploration work.
