摘要
新二元社会是指传统计划体制的社会机制和市场化社会机制共生的社会结构,是对中国改革进程的一种新的理解,也是分析中国社会转型的新视角。老工业基地社会既是探讨新二元社会的逻辑切入点,又是新二元社会研究的主要对象;它不是一个经济、技术和产业概念,而是对一种独特的社会结构特征的认识。新二元社会的实质是与一定产权关系相联系的两种社会生活的组织方式和文化模式。连续的强有力的政治体制,是新二元社会生成的前提,也是整合两种社会机制的条件;它事实上的存在和作用,是认识中国的市场化转型和中国经验的关键因素。在改革开放二十几年后,这种新二元的社会结构及其发展趋势,是构建中国和谐社会的现实基础。
During the 1990s, following the debate on how to treat the market economy in China, it became a general understanding and expectation that incremental reform meant incremental marketization, and it seemed that the traditional economic system and the organized mode of social life would gradually disappear with the deepening of reform.
