设计技术是研究平面掩埋式自聚焦光波导的基础，自聚焦光波导性能的高低和质量的优劣，与设计工作有着直接联系．分析了对波导基片玻璃的选材要求，研究了波导形状的设计，推导了圆弧相切连接波导中各参量之间的关系，给出了设计的数学表达式．

The design of a planar buried auto focus optical waveguide is the basis for studying it,and its performance and quality have directly something to do with its design.This paper analyses the requirements for the material of the waveguide ′s basement,discusses some problems relating to the shape design of the waveguide in detail,and gives the formulas that describ the relations among the parameters of a waveguide linked by a circular arc.It also gives the main parameters of a waveguide sample and the results of its performance test.
