Fulfillment of Global Compact,construction of harmonious enterprise and promotion of harmony in the world

中远集团总裁魏家福应联合国秘书长潘基文邀请于2007年7月4日～6日出席了在瑞士日内瓦举办的2007联合国全球契约领导人峰会,并在峰会全会上演讲。演讲内容刊登如下:

In October 2006,COSCO Group completed the first domestic sustainable development and social responsibility report by the audit of DNV. The report was focused on environmental protection,resource conservation and corruption confrontation. January this year,the report was selected and published on the United Nations Global Compact Model Billboard. COSCO is the first Chinese enterprise as well as the world?s first shipping enterprise on the billboard. July 4-6 2007,Wei Jiafu ,president & CEO of COSCO Group was invited by the United Nations secretary Ban Ki-moon and attended the UN Global Compact Summit in Geneva in Switzerland. On the summit,Wei Jiafu made a speech about the efforts and achievements of COSCO in human rights respect,labor standards observance,safety and energy-saving maintenance,environmental protection,anti-corruption and anti-terrorism support and social welfare fulfillment and undertakings.
