摘要
马克·吐温的《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》是其经典代表作,我国1943年出版了第一个译本,建国以后各种重译本层出不穷。"操纵学派"认为这种现象是不同时代的诗学、意识形态以及赞助人等内、外部因素对译者的操控造成的,名著重译有其历史的必然性。
The classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is Mark Twain＇ s masterpiece; there come successive retranslations after its first Chinese version around the founding of P. R. of China. As to this phenomenon, the School of Manipulation thinks that, such factors as poetics, ideology and of patronage in different eras manipulate the translators＇ work within and without, which is attributive to those multiple retranslations, and which further proves the necessity and possibility of retranslation of such classics.
