Techniques of the Author-item Catalogying according to USMARC

论文提出西文文献的著录由于依据的标准不同,导致文献责任项的著录缺少标准和规范。建议以《西文文献著录条例(修订扩大版)》为依据,认真分析文献的内容,规范著录文献责任项。同时还提出应该加强编目人员的培训,提高编目工作水平。

This paper brings forward that different cataloguing criterion of western language literature cause the lack of standards and rules in author-item. It suggests adopting AACR （Anglo-American cataloguing rules） （revised enlarged ed.） to be a gist, analyzing book＇s content seriously and cataloging author-item normatively. Simultaneously, it advances that we should strengthen the cataloguing staff training, so as to increase the level of cataloguing work.
