Genster is the Design Architect and Master Architect for the new $298 million North Terminal for the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The North Terminal will be built on the site of the former Davey Terminal. which has been demolished, and an old Marriott Hotel, which is being razed. This project involves the demolition and reconstruction of the existing Davey Terminal with 22 new gates and an INS facility. The 824,000 square-foot, 26-gate terminal is expected to serve about 6.5 million travelers in its first year.
