道路交通事故认定是在《道路交通安全法》中出现的一个法律术语,这与以往在《道路交通事故处理办法》及《道路交通安全管理条例》中出现的道路交通事故责任认定有所不同,新法中省略了"责任"二字,目的就是让人们对该行为有一个新的认识,对交通事故责任中的"责任"的应然内涵有正确的理解。

The identification of road traffic accidents is a legal terminology in the law of road traffic security, and it is different from the responsibility identification of road traffic accidents in the measures in treating road traffic accidents, and the regulations of road traffic security administration. In the new law, the word ＂responsibility＂ is omitted, which intends to help the public form a new conception of such actions, and develop a better understanding of the nature of the responsibility in traffic accidents.
