从顺应理论看英汉文化的含糊语言

The Adaptation Theory and Vague Language in English-Chinese Culture

顺应理论的提出者Jef.Verschueren认为语言有三个特性,即变异性、商讨性和顺应性,并提出了4个语用研究角度:结构客体顺应、语境因素关系顺应、动态过程顺应、顺应过程的意识程度。本文首先论述顺应理论的4个语用理论内涵,然后分析英汉文化的含糊语言的顺应语用效果。

Jef. Verschueren has proposed three properties of language, i.e. variability, negotiablhty and adaptabihty, and has actvanced four new perspectives of pragmatic investigation, i.e. structural objects of adaptability, contextual correlates of adaptability, dynamics of adaptability, salience of adaptation. This paper first discusses the theory content of four pragmatic in the adaptation theory, and then analyses the adaptation pragmatic result of Vague Language in English-Chinese Culture.
